View all FAQsAre chains universal? How do I find the right one?
No. Check drive-link count, pitch and gauge, then confirm the chain series and bar/sprocket combination approved for your saw. Bar length or brand alone is not enough. Use Product Finder with your specifications or product code, or ask our team to check.

SKU and FNSKU are on the label attached to your BYANE packaging. The ASIN is on the Amazon product detail page. Confirm your purchase market because codes may differ between the United States and Europe.

Choose “I’ve already purchased” and share your order number, product code, and any specifications you know. Please do not fit or use a chain that does not match your saw and guide bar.

Choose “I’ve already purchased” and select “Quality issue”. Describe the problem and include your order details. You can email photos of the product and packaging to supports@byane.com.

With the saw off, cool and secured against starting, use gloves to check that the chain does not sag below the bar and moves smoothly by hand with the brake released for the check. Drive links must remain seated. Follow your exact saw manual; see the full FAQ for more guidance.

Use the sharpening method specified for your chain: carbide tips need suitable diamond tooling, not an ordinary steel-chain file. Keep the chain lubricated with approved bar-and-chain oil.
